A reward of £50,000 is being offered for details that will ultimately resolve the case of a baby girl whose remains were discovered in a snowy park exactly one year ago today.
The child, named Ava by officers, was found in Salford, Greater Manchester, by a woman walking her dog on November 20 last year.
Although she worked 'relentlessly' to define her identity or determine who placed her in a shallow grave, investigators have not yet found any leads.

Now a significant reward has been announced to commemorate the anniversary of the tragic find.

The prize is for details that help reveal who Baby Ava is and the events that led to her being found in the park, referred to as Ashtons Field.
Authorities think her body was first placed in a shallow grave, but was later moved by an animal, possibly searching for food, and exposed.
Her body was found wrapped in a unique pair of women's undergarments, which might help in identifying her parents.
The pink and cream-colored undergarments, available in a large size for adult women, feature an unusual cartoon donkey design and are not produced in the United Kingdom.
It's possible they were worn by Ava's mother while she was pregnant.
Even though researchers have managed to obtain a male DNA profile from the undergarments, they believe this might still offer a hint about Ava's mother.
Starting the reward, lead investigator Detective Inspector Louise Kelly from Greater Manchester Police stated: 'Since Ava was found a year ago today, we have been working hard to determine how she ended up in Ashtons Field and to achieve justice for her.'
Last month, we had the opportunity to announce that a piece of fabric found with Ava was a unique pair of large-sized women's underwear featuring what are thought to be cartoon donkeys.
Unfortunately, even though this garment is distinctive, we haven't received any new promising clues.
We have been assisted by approximately 20 professionals from different areas, followed up on more than 200 pieces of information, and distributed 1,000 pamphlets to nearby neighborhoods.
Individuals living in the vicinity of where Ava was last seen should anticipate a heightened police presence in the area during this anniversary, and might be contacted by officers as we persistently explore every potential lead in the search for answers regarding her disappearance.
Over the course of 12 months, authorities state they have kept uncovering fresh details, yet nothing discovered up to now has enabled them to locate Ava or her parents.
They are appealing for her parents to step forward while individuals possessing any details are urged to come forward.
Detective Inspector Kelly stated, "The date today holds great importance for Ava's parents and anyone who may have known her, and we have not given up on uncovering all the details surrounding Ava's death."

Speaking on the BBCLast month on Crimewatch Live, Ms. Kelly stated: 'We recognize that Ava's mother and father are experiencing something beyond comprehension.'
We are unaware of their individual situations or the challenges they face.
We cannot overlook the criminal aspects in this situation, but there will be assistance and support provided to them.
A number of forensic specialists, such as a specialist anthropologist, archaeologist, botanist, and entomologist, were called in by the police to examine Ava's body, which was severely decomposed, in order to determine her age, ethnicity, and the duration she had been in the park.
A dental specialist determined that she was born at full term, within the 38 to 39-week range of pregnancy.
Additional tests revealed that her body had been stored in a different location for a significant time before being transferred to the field at some point between a few hours and 20 days prior to her discovery.
It is also believed that her mother probably hid her pregnancy.
Nevertheless, the specialists have not managed to determine precisely the time of her birth or whether she was born alive.
She was discovered near a small grave, approximately 14 inches in size and 5 inches deep, which authorities think had been disturbed by a badger, fox, or large bird of prey about two days prior.
Since Ava's remains were discovered on a layer of snow, authorities believe they may have been moved at some point after 6pm on November 18, when the snow started falling.
The finding, near a rest area on the A5082 and M61 motorway, led investigators to review thousands of hours of video from a nearby automatic license plate recognition camera to track the movement of vehicles in and out of the area between November 1 and November 20.
They have also conducted thorough door-to-door investigations, along with employing familial DNA methods to attempt to match Ava's DNA with individuals whose genetic information is already present in the national police database.
However, the identity of Ava's mother—or father—remains unknown.
