As per Barrakad, recent accomplishments involve significant improvements in infrastructure, increased air travel options, and a revised tourism package. He also pointed out Morocco's new investment charter, which features a dedicated structure to assist small and medium-sized businesses.

These involve heritage, cultural, and recreational projects throughout the nation, along with a broad hotel renovation program that includes the restoration of 62,000 beds and the addition of 40,000 more beds, especially in coastal regions.
Barrakad stated that the coming years will be "critical" as Morocco gets ready to co-host the 2030 FIFA World Cup, an event anticipated to boost investments, enhance tourism infrastructure, and broaden visitor services throughout the country. He mentioned that the expected effects will spread across the entire tourism supply chain, including lodging, resorts, dining, and entertainment.
