The late Bush, who passed away in 2018 at the age of 94, was reportedly told after leaving office that military personnel had encountered aliens at Holloman Air Force Base in Southern New Mexico during the 1960s.
The 41st President of the United States, a member of the Republican Party, held office from 1989 to 1993. Before that, he had served as the head of the CIA in 1976 and was also recognized as a distinguished naval pilot.
When the former president requested additional information, "he was informed that he didn't have a need-to-know," said Eric Davis, an astrophysicist.The Age of Disclosure, a documentary from Amazon Prime.
Bush informed Davis about the event, which he himself did not see, during a 2003 discussion, as he mentioned to filmmakers. It remains uncertain when Bush became aware of the 1964 occurrence.
"One of them touched down on the runway, and a being that wasn't human exited the vehicle that had landed, engaging with military personnel and civilian CIA agents in uniform," Davis remembered.
The film centers around the Legacy Program, an ultra-secret government initiative aimed at recovering unidentified flying objects. It includes notable political figures, like Secretary of State Marco Rubio.and New York Senator Kristen Gillibrand.

A recent film called 'The Age of Disclosure' features 34 former U.S. military and intelligence personnel who state they have firsthand knowledge or encounters with aliens.
These specialists claim that the United States has led a complex effort to conceal the global race to obtain and analyze extraterrestrial technology.
A former high-ranking intelligence official named Luis Elizondo, who is the main focus of the film, asserts that this constitutes "the most effective misinformation campaign in the history of the U.S. government, spanning 80 years of falsehoods and trickery."
As the title implies, these individuals claim that it's high time for the U.S. government to 'disclose' information, unveiling the extraterrestrial secrets that are said to have been concealed.
Helmed by director Dan Farah, the movie has generated significant attention following its debut at the SXSW film festival in Austin, Texas in March.
Although many have embraced the new findings, some still doubt that Farah has established any novel insights regarding extraterrestrials.
Individuals featured in the film claim that hidden officials within the government think the nation that deciphers the mysteries of this enigmatic technology will emerge as the dominant world power for many years.
"But the general public is unaware. The average person on the street is entirely in the dark," Farah stated.
In 2017, a report by the New York Times revealed the presence of the Pentagon's Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), which Luis Elizondo, featured in the film, stated he was part of.
Growing public demand eventually resulted in the release of multiple Pentagon documents verifying numerous UAP encounters reported by military staff.
