A second individual has been recognized in connection with the passing of Celeste Rivas, the 15-year-old girl discovered deceased in the rear of singer D4vd'sTesla, according to a podcast on the TMZ network.
Renowned criminal lawyer Mark Geragos and TMZ creator Harvey Levin shared their conclusions in the newest episode of their program, "2 Angry Men."
They claim that several sources with awareness of theLos AngelesThe Police Department's inquiry revealed that detectives suspect the involvement of another individual in Riva's death.
On Wednesday, Peoplereported a similar account from a police source, but mentioned that this unidentified individual was also probably involved in the body's disposal.
D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, has beenconsidered a suspect but has not faced any criminal charges.
Levin mentioned he was not completely informed about why the police now think that 20-year-old D4vd supposedly received assistance.
However, Geragos noted that he was conscious that the LAPD had created a comprehensive timeline of thecrimeby combining social media updates, mobile phone records, and Tesla's location data.
"They've narrowed this down to such an extent that...there's a chart at the LAPD that's hard to believe. They've mapped it out to a timeline that's nearly minute by minute," Geragos said.
Levin is of the opinion that since Teslas are equipped with both interior and exterior cameras, law enforcement probably has access to video evidence depicting this associate.
The Los Angeles Police Department has not verified the information regarding a second suspect.
Rivas's body was discovered inside the trunk of D4vd's seized vehicle on September 8, one day following his 15th birthday.D4vd was touring across the United States during that period.
The vehicle was noted as abandoned in the Hollywood Hills, with locals informing NBC Los Angeles that it had been present for roughly a month.
Following its tow to a storage lot, employees noticed an unpleasant odor emanating from the front compartment of the car.
When officers reached the location and opened the compartment, they discovered Rivas's body inside a bag.
Officials have not yet identified the cause of Rivas's death due to the body being dismembered and in an advanced state of decay. They are awaiting toxicology results for more detailed information.
Rivas disappeared over a year ago before her body was found.
She often escaped from her house in Lake Elsionore, California, and vanished for the last time in April 2024.
Sources indicated on Friday that D4vd is reportedly 'not cooperating' with the ongoing law enforcement investigation and has not been questioned yet.
As of November 22, no individual has faced arrest or legal charges.
