Accra, Nov 20, GNA – Accra Metropolitan University (Accra Met) has revealed a significant technological advancement by launching blockchain-protected academic credentials, positioning the university as a leader in digital certification security within Ghana and throughout Africa.
Accra Met, in a statement, mentioned that this action brings the University in line with top global institutions that have implemented comparable advanced systems to tackle academic dishonesty.
It mentioned that the initiative was established during a senior-level meeting in London, where the President of Accra Metropolitan University, who also serves as the Chair of the Governing Council of the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT), Prof Goski Alabi, reemphasized the dedication of both institutions to maintaining the authenticity of their degrees.
