These changes have already started, as students connect to the Internet and compose papers and theses on their laptops. Educators monitor how much of the content is original and how much is copied or considered plagiarism. It is necessary to reevaluate what constitutes plagiarism regarding texts and ideas, as selecting and integrating material from multiple sources is a fundamental part of professional work. However, I believe that for the foreseeable future, the methods of writing original texts will largely remain similar to current practices, with gradual changes occurring as the use of artificial intelligence becomes more widespread.
We have not yet arrived at a society that no longer uses paper. Students will continue to use traditional books and journals in their physical forms, and even more so in digital formats, as long as it complies with copyright regulations, or new guidelines for copyright and publishing will emerge. Physical classes will become less frequent as students will be able to access the same material online. A significant portion of research methods and professional thinking skills will be acquired through this kind of hands-on experience.

The preparation of written texts will likely continue to be used for tests and exams, but oral presentations, discussions, and the completion of practical tasks will become more frequent, with students working individually or in groups. However, I believe it is crucial, both in initial and ongoing training as well as in refresher courses, that students are physically present and interacting with other students and teachers at least some of the time, because not all learning can occur without discussions with others, even though we can also share opinions and engage in discussions online.
At the conclusion of this article, I would like to emphasize that there are numerous benefits associated with new media and communication technology, although it is not yet fully organized or effectively utilized. I wish to highlight that in the fields of education and research, we should also appreciate traditional, in-person teaching and learning methods alongside the integration of modern technology. Nevertheless, I believe that in the future, traditional schools and universities will experience significant transformations, and a substantial portion of the knowledge and skills currently managed by institutions can be obtained from other sources, including virtual institutions and various forms of distance learning. A primary responsibility of universities and schools will be to verify the qualifications and competencies of their students, rather than solely grading and ranking them. Ultimately, the essential role of educational institutions will always be to motivate and guide their students, helping them become as capable and confident learners and future professionals as possible.
