Morrisonshas replaced 1,700 paperboys and papergirls following the sale of its home delivery service.
Approximately 25,000 homes receive their daily newspaper through Morrisons Daily, the distribution service of the large supermarket company.
The body mostly utilized young individuals for fewer than eight hours per week.
However, Morrisons has recently sold the operation to News Team Group (NTG) for an unknown amount - signaling the conclusion of many teenagers' initial employment opportunities.
Their deliveries are now handled by NTG's drivers, according to Morrisons, who describe it as "a more efficient service."
Paperboys and papergirls are believed to have received notice via correspondence.
Ben Peters, 17, worked for four years and seven months delivering newspapers to primarily older clients until he received less than a week's warning that the position would conclude on September 27.
A paperboy from Holland-on-Sea, Essex stated: "Losing my job has been really hard to deal with since I had been doing it for so many years."

I've encountered numerous new individuals and communicated with them every day, but it all came to an abrupt end, as if I never existed.
Numerous young employees were sent a letter dated October 28 stating that their positions were "at risk of being made redundant," though they had no idea their professional journeys would conclude so abruptly.
Mr. Peters mentioned that 14 other colleagues also lost their positions at the Morrisons Daily in Holland-on-Sea.
He mentioned, "I communicated with my clients frequently, and there was a feeling of togetherness. They also stood by me during my GCSEs."
Most of them are senior citizens, and I would check in on them since they have health issues and other concerns.
First, when she injured her knee, I helped walk her dog for a few weeks.
Mr. Peters stated that numerous customers were worried about the transition, with one customer mentioning they canceled the order when the new company tried to deliver at 5 a.m., disturbing neighbors by ringing the apartment's buzzer.
He mentioned that employment opportunities for teenagers were extremely limited, and even after applying extensively, he has yet to secure a new position.

Clients were sent messages indicating the relocation would bring a 'beneficial effect', and that NTG provided quicker service. They were transferred automatically by November 9.
A representative from Morrisons stated: "After a comprehensive evaluation, we have decided to shut down the service and move existing customers to News Team Ltd, which manages the UK's biggest news and magazine delivery system."
Since News Team Ltd is already active in this region, we have been able to integrate our customers into their current delivery systems and provide a more effective service.
This has enabled us to safeguard the service for clients, particularly those who are vulnerable and depend on their daily newspaper delivery.
Unfortunately, this has led to approximately 1,700 newspaper delivery staff - who typically worked fewer than eight hours per week - being laid off, and we have provided assistance to those impacted during this transition.
It follows Morrisons' announcement that it will shut down 103 stores, cafes, florists, and pharmacies this year.
The chain had previously stated that 50 cafes nationwide would shut down this year as part of a 'restructuring' initiative.
The major retailer will also shut down 17 daily convenience stores, 13 flower shops, four drugstores, and all 18 Market Kitchens.
Furthermore, 35 meat counters and 35 fish counters are also anticipated to shut down during the restructuring process.
Many of the 17 daily convenience store shutdowns have already occurred, with stores closing permanently in April.
The shutdowns are a component of a strategy to 'speed up expansion', 'enhance efficiency', and 'support in reducing recent substantial cost rises'.
