- His sibling discussed the incident with okay1.co.ke, as the family searched for clarity regarding their younger brother.
- The departed was a diligent individual who died before he had the opportunity to establish his life with a KSh 157,100 inheritance.
A household in Ekerenyo subcounty, Nyamira county, is searching for explanations following the reported death of their family member.

Reagan Nyamongo was discovered deceased in a bush following several days of disappearance.
A 23-year-old went missing on Wednesday, November 5, and was discovered deceased on Monday morning, November 10.
What grade did Nyamongo achieve in KCSE?
The older sibling of Nyamongo shared details regarding the series of incidents that resulted in his premature and agonizing death.
He completed his schooling a few years ago. He received a poor score of D in his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), which is why he was unable to move on to university or college. Nevertheless, he had not been sitting idle at home.
He frequently took on low-level jobs whenever possible. He was a diligent young individual who had no problems interacting with others. He valued his personal space, was calm, and never engaged in substance abuse," Micah Mosoti said.okay1.co.ke.
Mosoti had been residing with his sibling in Nairobi until the latter chose to go back to their hometown after being unable to find a job in the city.
When did Nyamongo disappear?
It was also a necessary decision because no one was available at home to care for their mother, as their father had left the country.
"I had a discussion with my father regarding ways to support Nyamongo financially. He was skilled in riding a motorbike, so we decided it would be best to purchase one for him to work as a boda boda operator. I bought the bike on Friday, October 31. It cost KSh 157,100, and I paid in cash," Mosoti said.
He mentioned that his sibling officially started working on Sunday, November 2, because he was keen to begin making money.
He spent three days working before disappearing on Wednesday. Mosoti described what occurred that day:
The final moments of Nyamongo at home
On that day, he started his morning shift, which lasted only a few hours, and came back home around 10:30 in the morning. He placed his phone on the charger and left again at noon. He mentioned he was heading to a garage in Ikonge to service the motorcycle.
He informed the mechanic that, as there was no work that day, he would go home to mow the lawn. Those were his final words to the mechanic. Unfortunately, after leaving the garage, he never made it back home," Mosoti continued.
The family initiated a search following the unexplained disappearance of their beloved.
They eventually contacted the police following the mandatory 48-hour waiting period before formally reporting his absence.
When did Nyamongo pass away?
They scoured every possible location, but their attempts proved fruitless until Monday morning, November 10.
We were informed that a body had been discovered, and I was requested to go and verify it. I went by myself since my father was still abroad and my mother was too distressed. While on my way, I got a call confirming it was indeed my brother.
When he arrived, he discovered him lying on the floor. It appeared he had been subjected to torture prior to his death. The DCI had also come to conduct an investigation as they removed the body. His bicycle is still missing," he said with sadness.
Why did Mosoti disable his Facebook account?
Mosoti mentioned that his final conversation with his brother revolved around fixing his motorcycle seat. He had responded, but the message didn't go through since he had no credit available then.
He eventually closed his Facebook account and removed all his data as the constant posts about his brother's passing became too distressing.
"It was overwhelming. I required some peace and time to deal with his passing. It hasn't been easy, and it still isn't. I am in pain," he stated.
A boy from Nakuru was found dead following his disappearance
In a separate event, a young boy from Sunrise village, located in Njoro constituency within Nakuru county, was discovered deceased following his disappearance.
Jeremiah Macharia disappeared completely on Sunday, November 10, following a church gathering.
He was heading back to his house when he vanished, creating anxiety and concern among the locals and his loved ones.
